A. Glazer

Anya is an illustrator and student from London. Having spent a fair portion of her undergraduate degree at Oxford University doodling in the margins of her history and French lecture notes, she is currently undertaking a masters in drawing dinosaurs and other stuff at Cambridge School of Art (though technically they call it an MA in Children’s Book Illustration).

You can see more of her work at http://cargocollective.com/anyaglazer.

Anna Bystricky

Anna is currently a lowly undergrad at Oxford University, studying “Human Sciences.” When she’s not treating herself to Durkheim’s Rules of Sociological Method, bench-pressing genetics textbooks, swimming to lectures, or savoring other Oxonian treats, she paints, sculpts, beads, sketches, doodles, and fantasizes about art projects… Be it pen, ink, wire, beads, acrylics, pastels, clay, canvas, or
paper, she has a major addiction to it.

Claudia Claros

Claudia is supposed to be Spanish, but has never lived in Spain and would say she was “European” if it did not sound quite so pretentious. Currently living in the UK, studying Philosophy and German, her aim is to graduate and participate in as many things as she can. She recently started drawing and painting again, and is especially partial to the use of watercolours.

Daria Hlazatova

Daria is an artist and illustrator from a little town near the Carpathian mountains in Ukraine, who has a couple of wolves and a ghost of Count Dracula for neighbours. She spends evenings drawing things, learning spells, raising philosophical questions and answering them…

The topics of Daria’s drawings are magic, dreams and imaginary landscapes as well as characters. The nocturnal setting and star galore in Daria’s work have been inspired by the movie “2001: A Space Odyssey” as well as her long-term love for Van Gogh’s “Starry Night”. Having produced illustrations for magazines, album sleeves, and books, she is now working on personal projects and preparing for the future shows in the USA with Prisma artist collective.

Elin Hjulström

Elin is a Swedish illustrator and animator with a fondness for fairy tales and everything imaginary. Born in a small village in the mountains by the western border, with spectacular views on one side of the house and thick, dark forests on the other, nature tends to pop up in paintings now and then as well. Nowadays she lives by the coast, in the town of Gävle, where the wildlife largely consists of seagulls and pigeons.

You can see more of her work at www.elinhjulstrom.com.

Gustaf Lord

Gustaf Lord would describe himself as a ‘Visual creator using humourless jokes to spread lies and made up facts through illustrations, comics, film, animation, art and graphic design’. He is the illustrator of two graphic novels, several short stories and one baking book aimed at children. Other activities include the production of the award-winning animation ‘Deserted Walk’ and the highly appreciated art exhibition ‘Half Whale/Half Gorilla’, the theme of which was the human tendency to project our fears of the unknown onto objects, such that we are able to control them.
