Thomas Swindells
Thomas is currently pursuing an MA in English Literature at the University of Durham. His study of literature has complemented his passion for writing, drawing on a wide range of influences, from Chekhov, Fitzgerald, and Shakespeare to Milton, Waugh, and Yeats. Traces of such contemporary storytellers as Neil Gaiman, Mike Mignola, and Alan Moore, alongside stylistic glimpses of the tradition of the graphic novel, can be discerned in his attempt to construct a similar and very palpable fantasy world in his work. Thomas is furthermore an extremely passionate cinephile, striving to envisage written words and scenes as they would be experienced cinematically.
